SplitNow! is a tool which allows to split and optionally zip-compress a large file into small ones.You can split them by size or by number of parts and the resulting files can be rejoined again in any pc even if SplitNow! is not installed on it.
Some SplitNow! features are:
-Option to compress the data using ZIP format.
-Option to split a set of files or even an entire folder and subfolders.
-Configure filters to prevent some file types to be split.
-There's no need to have SplitNow! installed to merge the files previously split.
-Split files choosing the output files size or the number of output files.
-Works for any kind of file (text,mpg,mp3 or any other).
-You can rejoin the parts into a ZIP or into the original file.

With SplitNow! you'll be able to e-mail large pictures,songs or any kind of file to your friends,split files to fit into diskettes or cd-roms for easy transport or for backup purposes.
