I'm the author of InfoMagic Extra. I had just finished developing and beta testing this ability last year. I was on the verge of releasing a version containing it when Vista came out. You’re right, it adds a useful dimension to the program, but I’ve been unable to come up with a way to make this ability work on Vista.

I have been using InfoMagic for some years and it contains a huge amount of information on all manner of subjects but in particularly on computers. I tried it on a USB so that I would have that information when helping others with their problems but it does not work on a computer on which the program has not been installed. Will your newer ones run directly off a usb without the host computer having had the program installed on it? Or is there a work around?

In my opinion it could be the most valuable program to always have on a usb stick.
