This music collection software can help you in efficiently cataloging your collection of music media. One nice feature is the user interface in which the main screen shows most of the information and functions enabling searching, sorting, and scanning through music with relative ease. Not having a bunch of windows to switch around and navigate makes the software manageable. Seventeen different information fields can be entered and tracked for each album or CD. These include artist, category, title, media type, date, rating, and more. Best of all, the subject of each of these fields can be customized, allowing you to change Length to Time or Engineer to Guest Artist, for example. Also an image or picture like a .gif or a .jpg can be entered for each album. This could be the cover art or anything you like. This makes browsing through albums and music easier, too. A number of standard reports can be printed with just a click. If you want to sort or print a different set of data you can create your own custom report. Additional features included copy music, delete, a songs section to list songs, a notes section to write something about each entry, label printing, import and export of files, and integrated help. Album Tracker is freeware with no feature or time limitations.
